Two of everything.

15.2.2009.

It seems like everything comes in twos now. There are two bye-elections imminently. The two Bukits are going to be two mountains for UMNO. There are two MBs in Perak, but also in a second state - NS. In fact according to Ishak Ismail from Lenggeng, NS has had two MBs since Mat Hassan became the No. 1 MB and his brother Azman the No. 2 MB. There are two Undang Luak Sungai Ujung in NS. Mubarak Thohak has long been installed Undang and very recently caused a stir in NS by appointing Tunku Muhriz as the new Yam Tuan in spite of very vigourous backroom campaigning, denied, also vigourously, by the alleged perpetrators. Last week somebody called Othman gathered his supporters and appointed himself as the new Undang Luak Sungai Ujung. Wonder if he has some powerful backers. Heard he has two. Within two months the No. 2 in UMNO should take over. I would suggest we have second (two) thoughts because No. 1 seems also to have second (two) thoughts.

This timing of the two Bukit's bye-election looks suspicious, put at just after the declared date of takeover by No. 2. That would amount to two-timing by the No. 1. How about the two buggers challenging Muhyiddin for the new No. 2 post ? In the promotion of English as the second (two)  language that UMNO National level leaders should have, Mat Taib cannot qualify because he failed the English test in Australia many years ago, and Ali Rustam simply doesn't speak English. Just ask him. When he was a clerk in TNB he didn't have  to.

KEJO, YOP, KEJO !!

4.2.2009.

Wed. Feb. 4. This should teach Anwar Ibrahim ! No sooner had he welcomed the Bota turncoat and boasted that more is to come, the whole house caved in ! Welcome to the New Perak Politics ! We should all laugh and we should all cry at the same time. Laugh because it's sooo funny. Cry because we're all being screwed by the four imbeciles who dare claim the title of "Yang Berhormat". There's nothing honourable about their treachery. For the Bota guy, it's a double treachery double-cross. There's a new meaning to the label "Ipoh Mali".

Here are four idiots, backed by their respective political parties, who campaigned in the GE less than a year ago and hoodwinked their constituents into voting for them. Now they only answer to their own selfish fickle-mindedness. The only ethical thing they can do is to resign and call for fresh elections.

UMNO is so besotted with numbers that all scoundrels and scallywags can be accepted as long as they make the magic number to rule the state again. It may yet pay dearly for this utter lack of scruples. What can be done to others can be done to it.

What are the Sultan's options ? He can accept the fait accompli and hope to get some peace. But he won't. Get peace, I mean. Royal subjects have rebelled for lesser reasons. He can reject Najib's request and instead give time to the incumbent MB to rally support in the Assembly to get a simple majority. Give a short time frame.

The best option is to dissolve the Assembly. As a former judge he should be able to distinguish between simple arithmetic and ethics. The people voted the government in. Now there's betrayal on both sides. This is not what the voters wanted. The whole charade should be wiped clean with the seeking of a fresh mandate. That is only fair to the people of Perak.

And that should also allow the people to get back at the turncoats and give them what they deserve, should they unashamedly try to get back in. "Kalau teman, teman kejo, Yop !"
